Von Azul is a Rock N' Roll band from Stockholm, Sweden.
The band consists of lead vocalist Filip, guitarist Andrez, bassist Dennis,
and drummer Martin.
Von Azul is Stockholm’s latest rock phenomenon – an explosive fusion of classic
Rock ‘N’ Roll and modern energy. Drawing inspiration from legends like Led Zeppelin, Guns N’ Roses, Van Halen, and Black Sabbath, the band delivers a sound that is both timeless and modern, making them one of the most exciting new forces on the rock scene.
The band was born in 2020, during the start of the pandemic, when guitarist Andrez and drummer Martin connected through spontaneous jam sessions. What started with cover songs and late nights in the rehearsal space quickly turned into the creation of original songs.
Bassist Dennis joined that summer. After an extensive search for the right vocalist—going through several singers, including one from Swedish Idol—the missing piece finally fell into place when Filip took over the microphone in late 2022. With a voice as powerful as the band’s riffs, Von Azul was finally complete.
In 2024 and 2025, Von Azul has released tracks like Golden Hour, Towards The Sun, Free, Jacqueline, and All Around The World —a catalog that highlights the band’s range and ambition as they set their sights on even bigger stages. And this is just the beginning.
